Lark Voorhies born on March 25th, 1974 in Nashville, Tennessee is an amazing American actress who won Young Artist Award twice in 1990 and 1993 and twice nominated for the same award in 1991 and 1992 for her wonderful performance in NBC's sitcom "Saved by the Bell".

Voorhies revealed that there's an interesting story behind her first name 'Lark'. She said, "My mother saw a movie when she was 14 years old. I forget the name of the movie, but one of the lead characters was named Lark. She decided then she would name me and she stuck to it, and here I am."

Lark Voorhies who grew up in Pasadena, California first made her acting debut at the age of two as a child star. Later at the age of fourteen, Lark Voorhies reappeared on an episode of "Small Wonder" in 1988. That very year, Voorhies bagged the recurring role of Lisa Turtle in "Good Morning, Miss Bliss" and appeared in 13 of it’s from 1988 to 1989; and continued to appear in its sequel "Saved by the Bell" {86 episodes - 1989-1993}. Lark Voorhies has since appeared in several television sitcoms and soap operas. She played the role of a bitchy socialite Wendy Reardon in "Days of Our Lives" {unknown episodes - 1993-1994} and in "The Bold and the Beautiful" {4 episodes - 1995-1996} Voorhies played the role of an amiable intern fashion-designer Jasmine Malone. But as the role Jasmine Malone required to do some sexy scenes, Voorhies refused to comply as her religious beliefs are rooted in Jehovah’s Witnesses. She was thus dropped from the role. Voorhies also played the role of a girlfriend-turned-wife in "In the House" {3 episodes - 1997-1998}. Besides sitcoms, Voorhies also appeared in movies and direct-to-video films.
